MARGARET BLACKWOOD

MARGARET BLACKWOOD was born in Markinch about 1839 (ref. 1861 census), 1840 (ref. 1881 census) or 1849 (ref. her death certificate).

Margaret was the daughter of Archibald Blackwood and Margaret Livingston.

Her death certificate actually gives her mother's name as Cecilia Livingston, but this is probably an error - her father's mother was named Cecilia.

Margaret was employed as a Bleachfield Worker. She is at 44 Priory Lane, Dunfermline, on the 1881 census. Her occupation is given as Yarn Bleacher.
